About Rebecca Barnes Harpist

The harp is surprisingly versatile and is a stunning and ever popular form of entertainment for weddings. Rebecca has been performing at weddings for over fifteen years and has never seen two weddings the same. Playing at everything from a simple church ceremony with 30 guests to an elaborate and extravagant Greek wedding reception with over 500 guests! Plus numerous civil ceremonies, civil partnerships, and receptions in stately homes, hotels, barns, school halls, marquees, restaurants, leisure centres, living rooms and the open air.

The music you choose for your special day should be personal to yourselves and your guests and also appropriate to the mood you wish to create, Rebecca has played everything from Vivaldi to Led Zeppelin so if there is a specific piece you would like just ask. The delicate sounds of the harp are a perfect accompaniment to the wedding breakfast as it is relaxing and unobtrusive. It provides a beautiful, ambience to the event while being gentle enough to allow your guests to talk and enjoy their meal. It is ideal for a civil wedding ceremony too. Often there is no organ available for civil ceremonies and the harp creates a stunning atmosphere in which to exchange your vows.

Rebecca offers a personal consultation to all couples so you can get to know her and hear her play before committing to a booking.
